When They Won't Listen
You explained it clearly. You explained it twice. You watched it land on nothing, and then you heard yourself say it a third time, louder.
Kids stop listening long before they stop hearing. What has usually stopped working is not your point but the delivery of it, and the longer the explanation runs the less of it survives.
